This is a common issue when a thread has a lot of posts deleted which caused the post and page number out of sync.
What i usually do is change the url to this format to locate the post instantly:
https://sammythe.guru/showpost.php?p=14566111
- remove everything after the p=xxxxxx and change 'showthread' to 'showpost'
