I already returned from my May Batam trip...hehehe...and already start writing my 28th Batam trip summary. I need to carefully prepare (plan) for my upcoming June trip due to Ramadan therefore the May trip,i choose to be a follower rather than as an organizer.
Important note : By the way,talking about Formosa Hotel. This weekend onward,Formosa is ending their contract with Kaha (no more extending). So future trip/s,i wont be able to buy Kaha discount Vouchers for Formosa anymore. Thats according to the receptionist. Time to look for alternatives (i already did). Alternatives here means other travel agent/places/ways for special discount on Formosa Hotel.

After a while, really back to normal....

According to my friends staying there about a week plus ago, they took away the elevator function that each room can access to a certain floors only. So now,you can actually access to any floors with any floor's room key. I believe many has complain about this function (i did) and they do listen afterall.

The Jacuzzi bath tub is one of the main reason why i am staying in that hotel (Biz). For massage,i wont order from Bayou the next time i am staying there. Honestly speaking,i didnt like the way they try to upsell something or try to change my mind. I had a not-so-good experience on this part in my last trip with them when i was over-charge an extra 50k when they come to my room and convince my girl to switch to a cheaper package when they billed me a higher one.
Its another Delta Spa style,so that time with them would be my last of Bayou (unless they repent their ways and/or if there is a cheaper promotion).

Oh,thats not good (no changing of bedsheets). Thanks for this info bro becos i have not taken up the in-house massage before. At this rate,they are going to lose more customers over time base on their charges today. Unless they (Bayou) has promotion package with Groupon like those of Spa secret,Majesty,Sakura kind of shops.
In my opinion,if any places wishes to charge higher than normal,my "expectation" is that their basic part of its amenities needs to be in top notch condition.

Their efficiency level is good,but since you have to move,you should ask for a room you like,eg higher floors,windows etc.Moving from room to room to me is a hassle which i dont really like to do. Always taking a lot time off me and almost everytime,i will leave something behind by accident. Some more Biz hotel corridor walkway got no air-con,so getting all sweat out is inevitable during the process of moving.
To me,i think Biz hotel is starting to show signs of aging due to poor upkeep maintenance.

I remember losing a HDMi cable i bought at S$16 something when i stayed in Gideon hotel which i forget to pack it into my haversack when i return to Sillypore. So i bought new ones later in Batam which is 3 times lesser. There are many other computer accessory items that are selling cheaper in Batam than in Sillypore beside just HDMi cable,eg. Dumbdrive (thumbdrive),memory cards etc.
There are other electronic stuffs in Batam that are value for money if one knows its true retail costing,eg. Drones,smart phone,pc spare parts etc....hehehe....too big an item,hard to bring back Sillypore too,so i usually aim for the smaller stuffs.
