A wise move you have made making comparison between money changer shops. I have something interesting to share later,hehehe...yes,in my later summary.
maybe next time, I one shot change at that spot.....going back n forth just for that slight difference not so worth it.
actually i saw a few new money changer popping up....near the Hana Hotel area.
i went into one, and enquire about the rate. Was quoted 9600.
i walk off....his boss (a chinese)...ask me how much im changing....500 or 1000??!!
wah lau.....see me no up sia....true lah....i hardly exceed 300 per trip....hehehe.

Good price for Biz, bro. Kaha was selling at 370k (tax inclusive).
I can get it at 310k last time....think this time...they got some local tour thing going on that few days.
Partly explains why BF was at 1st floor and packed full.
When I step out after BF, I saw another tour bus outside and the Biz security ppl helping to unload luggages.
And also why the recep assigned me a 2nd level room.

The Jacuzzi bath tub is one of the main reason why i am staying in that hotel (Biz). For massage,i wont order from Bayou the next time i am staying there.
well, after seeing the ML folded back the cloth, I didnt ask to use the bath tub...moreover, my room just round the corner....

Oh,thats not good (no changing of bedsheets). Thanks for this info bro becos i have not taken up the in-house massage before. At this rate, they are going to lose more customers over time base on their charges today.
well, not true.
they got loads of local and Sinkie/Msia customers.....so they can afford to be as such.
i remember one Bro mentioned a certain massage shop at Nagoya Hill Mall area who dun change bedsheets becoz customer just keep coming in.
i went is because to try the Hot Stone massage....definitely wont patronize again.
i check with my friend who is in china....he told me the china ML do it in a more systematic way. the one i get in Batam....is kind of slipshod.
anyway, next time if going china....i ll try the hot stone one more time.

Their efficiency level is good, but since you have to move, you should ask for a room you like,eg higher floors, windows etc.Moving from room to room to me is a hassle which i dont really like to do. Always taking a lot time off me and almost everytime,i will leave something behind by accident. Some more Biz hotel corridor walkway got no air-con,so getting all sweat out is inevitable during the process of moving.
To me,i think Biz hotel is starting to show signs of aging due to poor upkeep maintenance.
well, probably that chap also didnt want me to go up and down.
so he recommend the same level.
he did offer to help me move stuffs...but i didnt fully unpack (usually i only do so at night)...so everything still inside my backpack.

yup, my preference would be higher floor with window...but I dun wish to push it further since the chap quite nice and give me a bigger room.

btw, next day check out, passing by the previous room, they already called in workers to fixed the crack floor.

There are many other computer accessory items that are selling cheaper in Batam than in Sillypore beside just HDMi cable,eg. Dumbdrive (thumbdrive),memory cards etc.

There are other electronic stuffs in Batam that are value for money if one knows its true retail costing,eg. Drones, smart phone,pc spare parts etc....hehehe....too big an item, hard to bring back Sillypore too,so i usually aim for the smaller stuffs.
this is an interesting finding....i frequent Sim Lim Sq quite a bit...so knows a bit about the price.
future trips, i will allocate sometime to explore certain items.
(money making opportunities)

All the restaurants and makan places will cover their windows/doors with cloth during daytime so that those on the outside cannot see ppl eating inside the restaurant... Again, as a mark of respect to Muslims...
Thanks....
Hope newbies going during Ramadan be aware of eating openly in public places.
