That's what I am thinking too if they say ok it should be ok. However it will be great and affirmative if any bro who had successfully check in without a marriage certificate in a 4 star and above hotel can shed a light since by law or by right it is not allowed. Of course many things go by left too, some even centre.
Even in HCMC I know of 4 star hotel that goes by left too because I had stayed there before.
