No one 'passes by' Wood Bar. Its at the end of the soi.
I've had many good nites at places that didn't look appealing from the outside. Have a beer and let the nite take you.
Once in another thai city
a group of us Asians walked in and the entire bar stopped and looked at us! After we ordered our drinks , everything resumed and things got wilder as we bought some ladydrinks. The staff later told us they thought we were undercover police!
