Can break down how u spent 5k USD??? I spent avg per mth was about 1-1.5k USD when I was in Hanoi. My modern 1 yrs old condo rental in Nguyen Chi Thanh with 2 rooms was 800 USD, paid by my company.
I spent on roughly.... btw this was about 7 yrs ago.
1) mobile, 20 USD
2) utilities, 50 USD
3) internet, 30 USD
4) transportation, 200USD
5) food 300 USD
6) KTVs, bars, pubs, 500 USD
7) misc 200 USD
I still can't figure out how u spent 5k??? U every month donate to casino. Good food every meal also boring... once in awhile will eat street food which was about 1-3 USD. I remember a delicious Pho Bo near my condo was about 20 or 25k VND.
U were lucky to have a Vietnamese to employ u, paying u 5k USD, btw u dun have to pay income tax??? For me, I am employed by SG company, paying SG tax.
