Ever since my China incident,i have been extremely careful of what i buy overseas, especially pharmaceutical drug related stuffs as my full time job require myself to deal with the like of HSA and AVA almost on a monthly basis,hehehe... its like part of my 职业病 (occupational habits).

I'm a little wary though, 480k for 4 tablets is far cheaper than the major pharmacies like Kimia or Century. My friend bought some from a slightly more dodgy pharmacy opposite Instar Hotel and whilst they were cheap, they turned out to be replica Cialis; I took one and it gave me a fever for an entire day.
Yes, according to the posted photo, its the one almost directly opposite Instar Hotel. Dodgy as it may seems to look like, the scale of this pharmacy is no smaller than most other pharmacy that has a lot of franchised branches all over indonesia,it sells many kind of drugs other pharmacy dont carry in Batam and it even have a clinic with doctors beside it ,sharing the same shop entrance. The staffs were well-verse with what they were selling and there seems to be more local indo Chinese customers there than the indo locals (something I observed and also, most local indo Chinese has one thing in common, they were more 'genuine-stuff-conscious'). I was the one who brought most of my friends there, and by far I have not encounter any replicated ones to-date (base on the type of things I bought there).

I have bought these "elixir" pills (not Cialis however) in a fairly large quantity and all of those who asked me to buy them tells me its the exact same thing as they have bought in Sillypore clinics (my buying friends were mostly more than 55+ of age who have been consuming those pills for at least a decade). The exact same thing bought in Malaysia is however costing around 20% lesser (comparing cheapest versus cheapest of the same).

The shop however sell the elixir pills at the lowest retail price as compare to the other pharmacies in Batam. How do I know? I spent almost half a day quite a few times when i am in Batam hunting down nearly all pharmacy in the area when this shop is sold out of a particular higher-end-brand which I bought regularly for my friends in Sillypore.

As always,I am no good with names, but the most expensive pharmacy I knew is at Nagoya Hill Mall itself, almost opposite Sakura Hotel,2nd place goes to the one almost opposite Da Vienna Hotel. Whenever anywhere has no stock of the 'things' I am looking for, "they" will surely have stock. Reason is simple, their stocks moved slowest due to their higher price. And they do not allow bargaining, hehehe...

There are still quite a few smaller scale ones around and some however were of a bigger franchise scale :

...which now reminds me as written in one of my earlier 2016 Batam summary before,i got totally piss off with one of the pharmacy staff and totally lose my temper the 2nd time in my nearly 3 year's Batam trips becos they were suppose to tell me the price when they have the stock and not quote me a good price when they DO NOT have the physical stock. Totally waste of my time to bargain with them.

Becos of my crazy rage that time,i must have scare those girls who were on the same vehicle with me and I kind of regretted my action.

I couldn't remember the name of the pharmacy shop but I remember it has a Green sign board and during then,I "swore" never to buy anything from that shop, even when I found out it is the 2nd cheapest in Batam.

note : I don't blame those staffs anymore tho, becos according to my later back-tracked memory (after I cooled down),i realize there was a misunderstanding due to our language barrier. Remember? I don't speak their language and they also don't speak mine. Its afterall a local drug store.

Erm,erm...as I couldn't remember the shop's name and can only remember its small shop's green sign board ,so to date, I don't patronize small pharmacy shops with green sign board anymore,hehehe... Not becos I "swore" never to buy anything from there anymore (I was in a fit of quick anger that time, hence I swore) but more becos I felt kind of paiseh to face those staffs again.

(Imagining me going to another country and start throwing a tantrum like a little kid,hehehe...i admit,i did wrong)

I apologize for ranting so much from what it seems to be a simple pharmacy query.

Side note : For bros who wish to buy pharmaceutical drugs in Batam,do check their packing's expiry date if you plan to buy 1st and keep them for later use. Certain brand of drugs were slow moving and the staffs do have the tendency NOT to check their product expiry on a regular basis.
