Batam no need to be 'this high' in price. Much often,i use the lowest paid Singaporean salary as a benchmark. And then I measure their income and compare them with the pros in other 3rd world countries.

Ok hereon,i am just guessing due to the lack of experience...i think those maids were not prostitutes for starter since their profession were known as 'maid'. And perhaps in their own countries (and culture), they do have the tendency to treat prostitute, like one...and not in a nice way. Its those 'upper,middle ,lower class perspective' of respective culture in different countries.
Most Chinese in Asia has this 笑贫不笑娼 (laugh at the poor but don't laugh at prostitution) mentality. Other country's culture may look 1st at a person's job vocation,more than anything else.

I believe its due to the unstable exchange rate. So they put upward S$1 extra over for the just-in-case variances. This happens all the time w/o the knowledge of the consumers in most tour agent. Air port tax is one example (wherebyits up to tour agent/s to name its tag).

Like in the previous post,i mention about PRCs in Geylang able to make a good earning of more than S$16k about 15 years ago. Per pop for the PRC is S$50 (back then),so minus-ing out her 4 days of 'rest time',she works for 26 days. S$16000 divide by S$50 equates to get getting bonked 320 times in a month. Each day she gets an average of around 12.5 customers.
I can easily imagine any indo girls in Malaysia (or Sillypore) where the per pop amount were way lower than S$50. I just learned something from your post,i think i will try not to take any Batam Indo girls who have had 'experience' outside Indonesia.
