I'd have taken a draw before the game.

Firmino and Lallana both missed golden chances. Should have won.

But to be fair, Sterling and Agureo also missed absolute sitters. So we could have lost as well.

On balance, it was probably a fair result and a great advertisment for the EPL, exciting entertaining football with a touch of madness at times!

I thought Emre put in a superb performance, but Gini was my MOTM. His ball retention was next level and he used the ball so well, too. He actually did knit play today, which was great to see

Good to see Clyne putting in a better performance, he did well defensively. Milner was real cool with the penalty and Matip had a tight solid performance as well.

Mane was quite average though and unfortunately Coutinho looks like he still has yet to find his samba mojo from pre-injury days.

Could have been a worse start to the week and we now move on.
