I do agree that it a is a little troublesome initially.....
IMHO
one need to know how to ask for a room that hv stronger signal....
This apply to any hotel any way..
My SOP
when I check in any ROOM(expecially one that new to me)
I will test the wifi, aircon and Hot water..
Note that I don't say HOTEL
because diff room, even in the same hotel floor..
Would give you diff result
I used to assume that all reasonable hotels would hv hot water.....
But My experience in Dumai proved me wrong...
A 5-stars hotel with conference hall, health center swimming pool....
choose to switch off the water heater during low season for environmental sake
