well done! you deserved to lose S$50...i did my passport renewal online for S$ 70.00 even before 9 months...only takes me maybe 5 to 10 mins to do the renewal and I took my own selfie...anyway ICA will add 9 months to my expiry...passport ready within 1 week...I fly so frequently and do not want to be caught in your type of situation because I have tickets to fly till middle next year...
I set reminders using my Outlook for important things to do...also sync with my phone...not sure how busy you are can forgot such things...or dun use technology to remind you...anyway just move on...
