Some of Sillypore neighbourhood schools sent their students to Balai for exchange programme (sports).

As for us beside the usual bonking stuff, one can venture further. Those days we used to have fishing trips. Asked Gabion hotel boys to arrange and booked a sampan. Sports? Badminton..cycling etc. We even witnessed those supernatural stuff bomoh exorcising spirits. Teres one we saw...quite eerie. But most were con jobs.

So Balai not really a boring place. Get to know the locals tere well. Festive season also enjoy the fireworks/crackers...
