I stood at the position of the one who ask the question to say what i said.
For one who are new,and enthusiastic about massage,varieties will much often be what they will be looking for. And Utama area is the place to go to. Many massage shops within an about 5 mins (or less) walk.
For one who are looking into a more general trip from massage to shopping and then to some good enough eating places,as well as some non-sexual entertainment,formosa would be better. I walked from Formosa to DC mall during my Dec trip,took me no more than 15mins to reach its back entrance.
Formosa is too crowded nowaday,hehehe...i hope lesser samster will go there to compete with me over the rooms.

In term of ambience,they were quite close,since both hotels were build around the same "generation" and their building structure were pretty close. Utama hotel were one of my backup hotel to stay in if there's ever a "all else fail" situation. My next choice would be Da Vienna,but they were nowaday often crowded by cocky Sillyporean. As for Biz Hotel which used to my 3rd backup,i gave up on them already.
I am also looking at Batam City Hotel tho,hehehe...i will leave that till next year tho.
If i am staying in Utama hotel,1st thing i would do is to walk its radius one round. And if time allows,i will walk into some massage shops that are more closer to my hotel and take their name cards or phone numbers (assuming i am running solo).
It is the 2nd time i found a fully grown cockroach in a Formosa hotel room tho...and this time round,its NOT a dead one...hehehe...
...if i add in baby cockroaches into the count,it would the 3rd time i have see them in my room (and i am not counting those time i have seen them in their restaurant and Alishan KTV,hehehe...only room encountering).
*i still have some of those photo of my encounters in record tho,hehehe...
PS: Yes,i have every intention now trying to scare you and others reading this post to stay away from Formosa hotel during holiday peak,hehehe...
