High security checks for passengers from Indoland
When I got in from Jkt close to midnite on Wed, our entire planeload of passengers and accompanying luggage were directed to go through the scanners and x-ray machines. This procedure is routine prior to boarding but this is the very first time I had witnessed it being required for disembarking travellers. And that's not all. There were also a half dozen heavily armed police and military personnel poised like warhawks around the exit. As my flight was the only one subject to such close scrutiny, I can only assume that the heightened security was applicable only to flights from Indoland. Is this a reaction to the recent situation in Bali?
