Previously across the MacArthur Highway opposite Walking Street was the Diamond entertainment area with several bars too. But that has given way to redevelopment.
There is another area with many bars & clubs / ktvs but you have to cross the bridge towards San Fernando..... this area seldom patronise by tourists as mostly only locals or very seasoned PI visitors will venture here..... prices are very cheap as it is "local" rates which is only 30-40% of what you guys are paying in WS or Perimeter.
Best of all is that this area is out of bounds to Koreans as there is some agreement that locals do not go to friendship area and Koreans do not come into this area.

But, is it safe for us to venture out there? For safety and convenience in Angeles, I always stay at either Queens or Amsterdam Hotels due to proximity to the bars! For sake of discussion, If you had stomach problems and no toilet papers, threatened or theft by drunk Filipinos and under the influence you're lost, what will you do? That's my biggest concern, therefore, I only party within Jeepney Station to the end of Walking Street at night!
