just came back from my trip.

took a from from HB to batu ampar ($34). the ferry trip was apx 40 mins. Brand new ferry terminal but still under renovation. The money changer at the ferry terminal isnt operational yet.

No choice but to take the cab from the terminal(30k) and the journey yo town was about 5-10 mins. Went to nagoya to change money and then to hotel. Walked around farmosa area, think dynasty has one of the prettier babes but all taken chop chop already. Walked around but then still cant find any. No choice took a cab to find find more ceweks. Found one joint with lotsa babes but the asking rate was 400k!!! those interested can look for this joint it outside the farmosa area if i didnt remember wrongly the joint was Perdona or padona ktv. To cut things short i did not pick anyone, asked driver to bring me back to hotel and he demanded 50k. since not firing and he brought me around juz gave him. Looks like the asking rate for most of the girls was 300k even when i was walking around and entering the joints without a driver.

Think next time can become taxi driver in batam. So easy to earn. Drive for 5-10 mins the can earn 20-30k. Btw their speed that they driving is really slow so for 5 mins i think the distance are pretty near. Maybe i look like carrot head or robert :P

those who want to cut cost can consider taking the ferry to batan ferry terminal than from the hypermart there simply spend 10k over there and u can hop onto a shuttle bus to nagoya hotels like fomasa/ hotelplanet/ 89hotel/ island garden. or from the participating hotel u can ask for the ticket and head towards the hypermart at the ferry terminal. You will also need to check the hourly shuttle service timings.

overall it was an eye opener and quite an experience.
