I had strange experience about Da Vienna, which I never understood entirely.
One year ago, I went to Batam with a colleague (his first time there, attracted by my adventure stories from there).
I was not sure what hotel to recommend him, since I felt that he needed something better than Formosa, yet I did not want to make him spend too much.
So, I went to recce Da Vienna, I saw a very nice room, just smaller than my business room in Formosa, and with modern new furniture. My impression was that Da Vienna was better and newer than Formosa. So, finally he booked Da Vienna (3 months in advance LOL!!) and I stuck with Formosa, as always.
Once in Batam with my friend, I invited hiim to see my room in Formosa. He was disappointed, as he claimed that my room was much better then his room in Da Vienna.
I wonder if I inspected a special room in Da Vienna, bur regular rooms are worse than in Formosa
