Long story short: The building was originally designed to be a service apartment type of hotel (just like Genting Ria) with the first 3 floors set as a shopping archade. Many cheongsters started to throng those 2 coffee shops and some PRC's rented rooms upstairs causing many existing residents [mostly Chinese families] to abandon their apartments. Soon an "association" took over many of the apartments and started a ghetto with protection and organised prostitution activities which you can enjoy their services as of now. The Hotel Richmoore did not take off and neither did it take down the signages. It is officially defunct and slowly all shops moved out and left only the existing coffee shop with beer license to cater for us cheongsters. ACE as an electronics parts center also kaput and now changed to represent All Can Enjoy [ACE]
