what gift to bring- for the 1st visit to my ex, another decent girl, I buy fruits for her family. As for my current gf, I buy more as marriage is on the way, i brought her daddy 2 martell, 2 pack of 555, her mum 3 box of hair dying stuff, her aunt 1 washing scrub from faceshop, her brother some clothes.
what reserve to bring- bring some panadol? bring more cash just in case/ bring condom?
Bring a cap and long sleve shirt if you dont want get sunburn...if lazy then just bring cash as it is king over there
where to go- ask your girl to bring you around..she should know better..one of the things to do at HCMC is to eat and eat and eat
where to stay best at HCMC (ger friendly)- personally i always like to stay at Pam Ngu Lao St, those backpacker district, the room is big clean and cheaper and that area is more crowed with more things to look see look see. If you interested, then just ask taxi to send u there, you will find alot of backpacker around there. If not then dig back to my old posting at another thread which I have stated the address before
