For the past 10 or more year, the kops had not won the domestic league or even come close of winning. To a real fan, winning the domestic league is the top priority, not winning the FA, Euro Championship.It doesn't show that LFC is doing well. Does this show that Kops is lack of hunger? For me, doing well means that kops can win the League and Euro Championship together, just like in the 80s' and I'm definitly not a Man U fan, I want them to win the league by beating Man U, Chelsea, Arsenal. Well, the circumstances that led to our decline has been much discussed. But as a defensive unit, we boasts one of the best in the league and europe. We defend well as a TEAM.
Goals are sure to be let in. No matter how good,i they are only human. Sol, Rio, Terry have had their same share of howlers and defensive errors. So have continental defensive greats like Maldini, Costacurta, Desailly, Puyol, etc. But lets look at the weakness of Pool as scoring goals.
Its not about HUNGER to win. but we also need to have the tools (players to do so). For now, while we do need some defensive (Cover), we need more attacking players.
