No ICA will not check phone records of normal tourists...
This is incorrect. Many MLs are checked and have their fingerprints taken when they are leaving for good. The ICA officers would randomly select them for thorough checks (actually, they pick these ladies out for check based on their experience - e.g. the ML came on a social visit pass and extend her stay in Singapore and is leaving unaccompanied, which are tell-tale signs that they were working girls). Several MLs I know managed to remain safe for close to 60 days while providing massage services, but got checked and fingerprinted, even though they had deleted all their contacts/correspondences with their customers. These MLs who had their fingerprints taken while leaving Singapore never managed to apply for passes to enter Singapore again.
