Pretty sure I shared this before but for the newbies in India, just look at the local ads in newspapers (yes, still around) and online. Lots of spa/massage ads with very vague hints. Almost all have mobile numbers to call. Just whatsapp them to ask for outcall to your hotel (takes a long time to get anywhere in these cities because of traffic so plan ahead) and if they respond (not all will), ask for full-service rates. That will instantly separate the few family friendly places from the fun places. Got a bunch of them respond and some with pictures when I used to visit Bangalore and Mumbai regularly.
