No secured future in anything the humankind does, it seems...as it is also true for working-life - it's a rat race; in love-affair - it's a dangling-fair, perhaps. Depends the scale tips which side, the other side wins..?
Then, there's really no end, not even in marriage (after marriage, the partner still go men-hunting perhaps?). Perhaps, f & f...continue until some saviour comes along...sad..
