After reading Bro Sha_Gua post and this, I would like to add my own thinking. I feel that communication is very important so that both parties are able to understand each other's expections clearly in order to prevent unnecessary mis-understandings.

For example, after one had married his viet gf and bought her over here to reside, if she had very high expections but was disappointed when she came over and realised the hard-cold truth (no chance of being a tai tai or something else), there is a chance that the wife might resent her husband.

Sorry that I'm unable to express myself clearly but hope that some bros might be able to understand what I'm trying to express.
