All this while, my 1st wife knows that i kind of fool around outside sometimes, but she close one eye as she believes that as long as my heart is with her and the children, she will be alright. She started to suspect something amiss when i started to chat on the internet often. She has actually met my 2nd wife before when i was staying in HCM. But i introduced my 2nd wife then as a former student in Singapore. (i used to be a HOD in a large private school in Singapore for 18 mths) But in fact, its not uncommon for man to have a few wives in Vietnam. I know of a few vietnamese man having a few wives, one even have 6 wives.
Before my 2nd wife agreed to be with me, she knows that i am married. there were a few months when she struggled to distance herself to me. But eventually, she still came back to me. As for whether we are legally married, its NO. But we went thru customary marriage and her parents gave us their blessing. Such things may sound beserk in Singapore as singapore ladies will not accept such things to happen. But in vietnamese society, such things are very common.
