It is almost impossible for Vietnamese women to leave Vietnam without any return air ticket. I faced the same situation with my wife last time. In my case, we already registered marriage with ROM in Singapore and then flew to Saigon for our wedding ceremony and honeymoon. On the day of departure to Singapore, we proceeded to the ticket counter at Tan Son Nhat International Terminal and the ticket officer there told my wife that unless she have a return air ticket, she will not get the board pass at all. We had no choice but to buy return air ticket at the ticket sale counter nearby. We just chose the cheapest ticket within 1 month and my wife was allowed to leave Vietnam. It is advisable to buy return air ticket and the total cost is relatively cheap.

Can I just buy a one way ticket for her to come Singapore with me? As budget for 1 month only.... Definately she will be staying for more than 1 month. Will the custom refuse the entry as she only has a one way ticket here? Please advised.... Thanks for the help..... Is it a must for travellers to have a return ticket?
