Hi bro birdie, is not very recommended traveling to hcmc during Tet(lunar new year), back in 2005 i was there on the 1 day of Tet, so many shops and makan places were close(not sure about now)..LL have to makan @ hotel. Only 3 or 4 days of Tet, then those shop inside ben thanh market will open. But if you want to see SYT from other province then you can visit Flower street festival..keke..lots of SYT with family..keke. Oh..most of the KTV girls will ask for Ang Bao
