firstly i've eaten at namxing yaowarat countless.. those fins taste real to me or at least so to my cheap taste buds.
no offence but that comparison is rather flawed.. are those people saying anything cheaper than 5k is probably unauthentic?! then how bout those (50SGD or 60SGD not sure how much now) per bowl u eat at the thai sharksfin rests. in sgp? Bound to be fake as well since its not even half of 5k THB?
i believe there ARE fake n cheap sharkfins aplenty in yaowarat. though not all..
just my 2 bahts.
