well, for u to understand more about vietnam, guess u must really come here and understand more about their culture, life style. and yes, most of the family here depend mostly on the girl side to bring back the income for the house.(THAT IS FROM WAT I OBSERVE FROM THE POOR FAMILY).
during my time here, i really learn alot from my wife, and i really respect watever she has done for this wonderful family of ours.
And last, to all brothers out there who have vietnamese spouse, we should try to sit down with our spouse and try to understand them more then rather they understand us more, because, she is the life partner u have chose to be with and spend the rest of your life with her.. understanding their culture better will bring you on the right track..
feel free to check with me for anything under the sun.
will get back to you guys asap..
cheers.
Hi bro,
Thanks for sharing and good to hear you have a blissful marraige.
Indeed you have spoken correctly of them. My gf is the youngest in the family and both parents depended on her to put food on the table. While in Vietnam, I witness her ability to take charge of the family expenses wisely. Regardless in SG or VN, she took care of my needs and are always there for me. She too understand and speak mandarin and English so communication was not an issue.
I agreed with you and other bros that being open to each other is the key to a happy realtionship with them. And becos of the different culture it is advisable to make an effort to understand them. At first it may not make sense of the things they do but we must be open to ask respectfully. Be patient and respectful to them and one will be rewarded with a caring wife. Even the sex was out of this world
