It's seem that if you are a tourist, you need to pay 2,5juta when your stay exceed 183days in 12mth. Not sure if the counting month starting Jan'09.

The law says, within the LAST 12 MONTHS. So, it back dates. If you stay more than 183 days, then you have to pay. Usually, they dont check. especially if you go in and out or travel alot. So many chops on passport.

Tourist Visa and business visa still same. Kitas is like a work permit. I dont think the price go up yet. renewing this year, not sure.
