I have a guy friend who married a vietnam girl 2 years ago and started to isolate from my group of close friends.
This girl can speak good chinese and was in her late 20s when my friend know her. He claimed that he got to know her thru his colleague's wife who is the cousin of his wife. We kinda to believe him la even we have not meet her before until today.
Alot of problem for him because his wife can't get along with his mother and keep pressurised my friend to get a HDB flat and rent out...to who i also dunno...My friend is those chee hong type, will listen to wife and forget friends and family members....long story because he can even lied to us for $$$ because of his wife....called me one afternoon and tell me he had received a court letter for summon because he has acted as an guarrantor for a friend bankcrupty to travel to overseas but he never returned....in the end we found out which is not true....jialat think he kena voodoo by this girl anyway,they had already R.O.M after knowing each other for few months.
he is helping his wife to settle debt in vietnam by taking loan from Easi cash from GE because she has a failed business in vietnam before she came over singapore. before married, my friend will every month help her remit $500 but after marriage she demanded for $1k otherwise she would go JC to work..WTF further more my friend is those listen to girl type,

In order to help her, my friend borrow $ from us but we only lend him 25% of the amount his request because we knew that he would neva able to get back the loan. As a favour to him...hope he know what is doing.
