Re: KC and the Sunshine Bang

The Stage Setting (skip this intro if too boring....) :

KC runs a business. It is not a big enterprise but just a small respectable professional practice. The business is good but money is not exactly coming in big time. Still KC has hopes and visions for himself and company and works hard.

KC spends a lot of time in the company. So much so that his private social life suffers for it. KC is not exactly an introvert; neither is he a loud extrovert but he begins to lose contacts with the many friends he once had. After office hours where he would normally spend with friends are now dedicated to the business.

The first few months flies by quickly and KC is always busy working. At first KC feels good about himself. He is working hard for himself and enjoys the hard pace and rush. However, soon his marriage begins to face issues. The wife complains he seldom is home even on weekends and they begin to quarrel over this. KC tries to explain the need to look after the business but always meets the accusing phrase;"Show me the MONEY!"

It is not that the business is not making money but it is new and KC has to be careful on the income and expenses. Still the accusing phrase comes in frequently. As the world enters into a financial crisis, the accusation gradually evolves into a mockery.

KC begins to feel weary and disillusioned. He feels the lack of support for his toils and labor and slowly slips into lethargy. By this time the business has slowly matured to become self-generating to a certain degree but energy and spark are needed to bring it to a higher level. KC loses this energy and starts to slow down . . . .
