VietNamNet Bridge – On the morning of December 31, one day before the Dalat Flower Festival, Dalat was very busy with flower-related activities, such as flower arrangement competitions and street decorating.

Vice-Chair Tran Dinh Van stated that the flower fair will open on January 1, 2010. On the same day, a special show will take place in the evening to open the six-day flower festival.

Many other cultural and sports activities will be held on this occasion, such as “Dalat – The Venue of Love,” a dual cycling competition, a mountaineering contest to Lang Biang, a music gala and a closing ceremony entitled “Flower Road and Wine,” with around 5,500 liters of free wine on offer.
