Not all viet man are hopeless and lazy.
My galfriend has 2 brothers... 1 is the youngest of the family and he is still studying. It is understandable that he do not work to earn money now.
Another brother who also like to fool around abit but ever since he get himself a wife, he has been working hard to support her. The setup a hut outside his family house. He repair motor while wife sells coffee shop. Recently he took up a part time job to sing and entertain people during wedding and party. He is real good in this.
She has 2 brother-in-law. 1 in HCM. He is also working to support family.
1 in mekong.... this one CMI. only dirnk and drink.
I would say that how viet man behave really depends on the family up bringing. I believe religion also plays a part as the whole family and the BIL in HCM are catholic.
