I beg to differ..
I think when WL here say "nhieu chuyen", it means 多事 or 很多是非..
For example, if they see people drinking and fighting on the street, they will say "nhieu chuyen"
I remember once when I ate super with a lady and we saw one man and one woman fighting so hard on the street. She watched the live show and laughed so hard. She said something like "em nghi chi vietnam co nhieu chuyen nhung singapore cung co nhieu chuyen." (I think only vietnam has lots of things but singapore also has a lot).
