I have been reading everyone's post for the past two weeks so decided to went batam with a friend of mine, we are new birds , and I meant totally new , never went to there before .This is my first post , sorry for the noobness and decided to tell you guys what happened on my trip .
Wavemaster at SGD 48 , Took cab from ferry to Orion Hotel at 25 000Rp , we bargain with the cabby cus I dun wanna kana chop robert but I think I still kana in the overall trip. Reached Hotel Orion , gave cab driver 30k as we do not have small change , but the cabby just took it and never return us small change , friend say cb , give him la . Reached the receptionist , communication problem , we both dunno how to speak bahasa , saw the prices kinda ex but decided to see the room not bad , very clean . But we go check out other hotels first den decide , went to 2 shady hotels dunno what name , saw goodway and other hotels , told my friend sua others , that one ex so we kinda walk here walk there , cross road here and there , I was like wow , crossing the roads very dangerous sia , cus I am an expert in jaywalker , but the level in batam very high , and ended up we got no idea where we are . Went to the 2 shady hotel room , fucked up , I was impressed cus budget hotel ma , but my friend says cmi , so we sua to others . By the time , we came out of the hotel , we kinda pissed off cus lots of hotels are full , went back to hotel orion take cab at 30k . KNN , the receptionist tell me full when I wanna take the executive room wah kao just now never tell us make us come back nvm . Pissed off , suddenly Lai lai hotel came to my mind as I dunno which budget hotel to take liao , take cab again 30k to lai lai . We pissed off liao , so we straight away choose the most ex one and see the room , saw the room , swee and clean , straight away booked 2 rooms . rooms costs at 185 000Rp . Wanna go makan A & W at nagoya hill shopping centre , dunno how to go , take cab 20k . when we reached nagoya hill shopping centre , KNN , we realised its just across the road nia , the cab go one big round machiam very far . Makan around 50k at A & W . walk walk , buy fake LV at 20SGD dunno got kana chop or not as I nv buy chiong branded goods before . go upstairs , drink coffee at coffee town , pretty shocked that can smoke in cafe 0.0 . Sat down smoke and drink coffee as well xD Den take cab to BCS mall at 30k , cus my friend not enough cash , den the uob dun accept his atm card for withdrawal of cash . withdraw liao wanna sua back to nagoya , take cab 30 k , meet this driver can speak fluent english , ask him bring us to joint , I told driver 2 way 50 k , he say steady den I saw the windsor food court on my left when I reached the joint , I dunno wad the joint name is called , something Indah . Booked the girl at 400k , loot liao , ate dinner at hotel downstairs , I was like wow , how come in the noon dun have this roadside stall sia . 70k for the food , kang kong , fish , chicken and keropok , 4 orange juice , 4 rice . very cheap
loot again after eating upon reaching hotel , slept , next morning loot again , gave her 70k tips , actually wanna gave her more cus she is fun and easily get along but not enough cash as I thought still need to pay hotel room extra 20 percent so gave her 70k nia . makan at hotel free breakfast . check out , shocked cus no extra 20 percent charges , 185000 will do . Sorry , we really damn ah hai , cus I second time go overseas with friends , and we are two fucking young boys in our late teens , everything also dunno . Cab back to ferry at 25k . overall trip is good , just that we keep kana chop robert , wanted to stay for 3D2N , but took too much cab and cab driver earned alot of commision . so stayed for 2d1n . Will go again definately ! Thanks for those pro cheongsters here for the tips and adivce , helped me alot . Oh ya , can anyone tell me wad joint did I went to cus I cant remb the first name of the joint , it is called something indah , on the left side is windsor food court . And is it when go to the joint without cab driver , the cewek will be cheaper ? Cus I was shocked when the mama san told us 350k , 400k and 500k . I thought it was minimum 300k . And and , the driver got earn comm right ? cus I saw mama san gave him a white paper or something . Cus I saw a post from a guy in this thread , told the mama san he got no driver , the mama quote him 330k instead of 400k . That means the driver earn 70k comm right ? If it is like that , wah , the driver earn from us 230k 0.0 !! Thanks and appreciate if someone could answer my questions , Thanks alot ! Total spent, $180 + $48 for 2D1N trip.
