the first few days we know each other
i met my bx about 2 months ago. we knew each other at a pub in geylang inside the pub, she was not one of the girl i choosen. she was chosen by my friend while i had choosen another girl. during that day when we first met, i did not talk much with her, just asked her name thats all.. when tat night ended, we had a smoke outside, my friend did not exchange contact with her, before i left into my car, me n my bx exchanged contacts.
2 weeks later, she contacted me and ask me how am i, initially i wasnt sure who she was as i had already forgotten, so i asked my friend to see if he knows who is it is it as he also know what is the name of the girl he has chosen. after much thinking, i found out it was her (my bx)
we exchanged a few smses during work like asking how r u, what r u doing, have u eaten, have u sleep. after a few days, i decided to meet her one day after work, and we ended up at my house.
in singapore, i have brought her to different places. e.g east coast park, raffles place, clarke quay, merlion, marina square and even the zoo. we were together and like those girlfriend bf type. she came to my house quite often even though it is a short period of her stay. we were together. almost everyday after work, i would fetch her from her workplace.
btw. it was my bx first ever trip overseas out of vietnam, first ever visit to singapore. i have seen her passport. it was issued in 2007 and her first chop was only this year. the reason why my bx came to singapore is because most of her friends and her sister asked her to come since 2007. she agreed to come only recently this year. most of her time since young, she worked in a korean restaurant and did not have any vietnam bfs. she had a korean and australian bf previously but she left both of them as both are playboys who cheated on her as they went to find other girls.
initially during our relationship, she understood that i am a younger guy while she is older. btw i am 23 this year and she is 28. she told me she cant be with me as i am a lot younger den her while she is 28. i replied to her that, age is just a number, what i only know is i love her a lot and want to be with her. in the end she accepted me.
a lot of her customers gave her a lot of money. on her last day of work in singapore, a man in his 50s gave her 500 sgd. most of the time when i am with her, i did not give her any money. only a few times and it amounts to around 700 only. she understands that i just started working only. i do not earn much as i am just a fresh graduate who has just started work. her ticket back to hcm was also bought by a customer and not me. so money was saved.
i told her i would accompany her back to hcm city on the day she went back to vietnam. she agreed and was happy i was going to be with her. it was my very first trip to vietnam. my parents met her and we had a meal together on the last day in singapore. they understand what she worked as in singapore.
in singapore, i had bought her a silver necklace, and we have bought together couple rings. she gave me a bottle of bvlgari perfume on my birthday and gave my family a lot of soft toys on her last day in singapore.
on the day at hcm city, we did not stay in any hotel. money was saved. all the while i stayed at her rented home. it was one of those home where it is like a one room flat in singapore. just a living room and a toilet. The monthly rental for her home is just usd 120 a month. travelling was all the while done using her motorbike. it was a great experience as i did not travel in a motorbike before in my whole life as i did not even know how to drive a bicycle. she brought me to many places. lotte mart, parkson, to all the coffee shops, ben tanh market eating. all these. all the while she was worried i am not accomdated to the living conditions in hcm. i told her it is ok. in my stay at vietnam, she brought me to her village, about 100km away from hcm city. in mekong. her village is those house and the roads are muddy type. life was very simple.
her mother understood how old i am. including her young brothers. her mom also asked when we were getting married. life was very simple there. bathing was done my using rainwater collected during the rain.
things she had done for me in vietnam which has touched me.
(1) the way she has saved up money to buy things for her family.
(2) how she is able to live alone in her rented apartment, working in hcm city.
(3) how she has took care of me. travelling in her motobike around hcm city and to her parents house in mekong which is a 2 hours drive.
and many more.
On my last day at HCM, she said she wanted to buy for me a gold necklace. we drove to a gold jewellery shop and inside she chose for me a gold necklace, asked if i like and bought it for me. it cost around 300sgd. i was touched. 300 sgd to them is already a lot of money
back in singapore, we missed each other a lot and would always call each other. sometimes she would call me even though i told her it is expensive for her to call me and i would call her back. she would sms my mother and asked her how she is and asked my mom to buy medicine for me. she would always spot check on me and ask me where am i as she always know i like to go out very late at night drinking and chionging
ok bros. this is just a short summary of me n my bx.we agreed to marry later this year or early next year.
