if you are officially married to a viet spouse, you will realise that handling her RELATIVES will be one of the more troublesome areas affecting your relationship with her.

For the past 7 years with my wife, i have been cheated twice by her relatives in business. The amount cheated amounts to more slightly more than US$25k. The relatives will always want to provide SUPPORT when you are thinking of doing business in Vietnam. They will have links to this and that. My spouse will always have complete trust in them, but i am always quite doubtful of them. But if i voice my suspicion, my wife will be angry with me, often saying that i look down on her family. After some months when things went wrong, money go missing and relative also go missing together with the money, my wife will keep quiet.

Personally, i hate employing my wife's relatives or even dealing with them in business. They don't work and expect to be paid.

My personal experience tells me that vietnamese cannot be trusted. Cheating to gain wealth are just too common for them.

Doing business in Vietnam is not as easy as what most thought it is. The amount of shit i have been thru there just reminds me constantly that money doesn't come easy.
