True, quite diff social mindset in LOS. Even got neighbourly birthday cake on occassion. Another service diff: Your scotch glass never gets empty (whisky dek tries to recall your poison mix). Whilst here is mostly DIY.

All popular clubs in Bangkok (or Thailand) are fire traps. Santika (R.I.P) was a tragic example. Not sure if its any use but best try get a table near the door or at least take note of where the fire exits are. Then again a bit LL if u already gone thru one (or 2) bottle of whisky your judgment & motor skills would b pretty fucked up already.

Yeah, tell me about it. Outside fun bit, even loo and fag breaks are a pain.
And Santika was a classic example of disaster waiting to happen. On a personal note, lost 2 sg samster friends (RIP) in "aftermath".
