I took the same route in Nov last yr, and took airport taxi to hatyai town for 300 baht ( but split with another nice gentleman), then took lovely tour pte car to danok at 650 baht.. think can arrange for pte car fr airport to danok direct for abt 700 baht.. but need contact in danok travel agencies, as i think is also pte car driver one...Hope this helps, or the danok lao jiaos can also advise u on this too...
