I am probably the worst person to ask about the situation during Canton Fair. I was in CP only once during the Canton Fair which was last year. So I am hardly an expert on Canton Fair; my area of speciality is CHEAP, what is the cheapest pte transport etc......
Below is strictly my person experience only and it is only based on my failing memories of one trip only:-
1. CP- I have to pay more for my hotel room at Miraton; but no increase in KTV prices and other services. Crowd wise only slightly more than usual, in fact I feel my this year March trip was worst. And when it come to rushing for mm, think the once a year businessman canton fair type are no match against hard core tiko DOM like me. hehehe
Overall, my KTV experience during that trip was very good.
2. CA- I did not have to paid extra for my hotel during the Canton Fair. Cannot comment to KTV as I did not go ktv during that trip. Suana no prices increase.

Upmountain, I like DFJH hotel, but the suana options out there are very limited. Park Hyatt looks good, and is close to some popular suanas. That is probably your best bet.
