Its been a long time since I wrote a posting in Sammyboy. think the last was in 2005 or 2006. This was when I went into semi-retirement from the viet scene.
I was free today and try to see if my nick is still being maintained. I got lucky and thank you sammy for not kicking me out.
I now stay in officially an OPP GRC, the voices of the people have spoken.
I guess vietnamisation has been really successful. Was really sad not to see my mane on the first page though. not officially invited.....
I guess for me, vietnamisation has gone 1 full circle. Its been 10 years and I have yet to break out of my interest in viet woman.
Inn the past 2 years, like Mr Low, I have given up playing in my favourite arena of southern vietnames and move beyond Danang (located right smack in the centre of Vietnam). Not much province in the south left to conquer except 2 which I have yet to plant my flag. the score ain't that encouraging but it was good fun playing northern territory.

Being with a northern girl takes a bit of getting used to. Firstly, they speak standard vietnamese and thus the pronounciation is very different from the southerners. You also need a lot of adjustment phase as its not easy getting used to being with a northerner. When you don;t see them, you feel like breaking up with them but when they are by your side, you feel damn lucky.
My life has come 1 full swing, I was married and divorced with a southern girl. I had a child with another southern girl. My little boy is now 4 years old. My current girl is from the north, wedding bells are planned if she can get the documents in place.
Well, nice to make acquitance with all of you and dear old friends I made here, I am still alive, do call me for coffee. This days, I hardly stay out late beyond 12 midnight. Guess age is catching up and given that northern gals are a rarity, there is not much fun. Well, the numbers are pouring in slowly and there is a large group building up soon.
