A couple should have their own personal secret as in finance but when face with big issue, both must be willing to help up
You're right on this. I don't let my wife know how much I have in my personal account. But we do have a joint account where we place our profits from properties investments in. This account cannot touch, even cheque needs two signatures. My wife keeps a very close look on this account. My wife also has her own account where I will transfer money for her to use. She also has 3 supplementary cards from me. I let her use as long as it's not too much and provided she doesn't take money to secretly give to her family. Year 2012 marks our 9th year of marriage, she told me yesterday that she wants a gift from me. She ask me to guess what she wants, I said 'simple, what does a viet gal wants ? Gold and diamond la' She ask me give her 10k to buy as she saw 1 that's nice. Siao liao , 10k I can do lots of things leh.
