seem like u have no other way to save your 3k and for her to go back, reason being
1)she have not went back for the past 2 year
2)she insist on going back on "TET",so prepare to buy expensive air ticket
3)she have not open mouth to get from u any money for the past 2 years
If for me,i will explain to her why i think 3k is a bit too much for me and why i dont want her to go back on 'tet' cos ticket is expensive
sometime it also depends on how u use money in sg,she will know.if u anyhow spend,drive a car,she will think 3k is nothing to u but if u always remind her to save cos money is hard to earn and must keep for their future and u spend most of the thing in a thrifty way,she might not request for 3k
this is from my own experience and my way of brainwash her,always make her think i am not rich even though i am a singaporean,just average only from the first day i know her
