I tell my bx again and again to save money for future cos i'm not rich. She listens to me n only spend on necessary things n did save some money. Though it is not much n is in VN dong and she gave it to her father before coming here with me. at least the money saved has a purpose.

Their concept of saving money and using money is very poor.Cos they are use to having little money or no money to save every month when they work in vietnam.So they dont bother to save.Have how much,spend how much.Every month no enough,then borrow here,borrow there.
If your bx or even girlfirend is good,they will at least save a bit or not anyhow spend.Let your viet spouse know how much you have to spend like food,electricity and others and must save for your future.
Their mindset is as long as from SG,ppl will be rich.For them earning 1.5k in sg is a lot,but after paying cpf,pub,singtel,mrt,sbs,food and others,1.5k is not that much.So must really brainwash them
