i started supporting the club from the late eighties (oh yes, i am THAT old ok? ), i shall therefore not comment on players like edwards, charlton, best and law who were from another era altogether.

just to name some great players who donned the united shirt from the late 80s to present : hughes, robson, bruce, schmeichel, van nilsterooy, solskjaer, keane, beckham, ronaldo, rooney, and of cos cantona (see my avatar)...... cantona is most special to me. only becos i believe he was the final piece of jigsaw that united needed for the one final push to win the league.

after the 1st win inspired by cantona in 1993, the rest is history. so for me, it is undoubtably king eric.

scholes and giggs....they have my utmost respect for their service and faithfulness to the club.
