This case started before BE2012 but stop abruptly just before and during BE2012. It is like PAP's SOP.
The same thing happen for GE2006 when PAP MP Ahmad Khalis was charged in court after GE2006 but his case started before GE2006. He stepped down quietly at GE2006 only after one five-year term.
Talk about judicial and media independence.
