After hearing your story, really felt sad for u. There are many hotel abt 30min from the airport. The most cost u usd$40 per twin room. 40*4=usd160 only. They are also near to the beach and near the night market.
My advice, if u & bx/gf have not go to that place b4, dun ask her to plan. I'm a person who can take long distance bus, but i still advise u to fly to PQ better. The comfortness of flying wont cause a couple to quarrel over tiredness of trip
