The act of love making involve different stages namely pre-foreplay, foreplay, the act and cooling down period. Stripping and taking a bath together is part of the pre-foreplay process where both of us try to get comfortable with each other.
It is also a pressure release valve for the first timer DH if she feel uncomfortable and want to back off. It is my risk management method of assessing New partner comfort level at the initial stage. As I had said before so far none has backed out. But some of my friends who use this method has successfully weeded out those not so willing DH.
