You are right. When they get hold of cash, they buy gold immediately. Their collection of gold are counted in Kilograms. The amount of USD under their pillows are also not to be missed out. Most importantly, the land parcels passed down by their ancestors to them. These land parcels used to be quite worthless, but are worth much more now. Think about it, 1 simple piece of land in the deepest part of the village may be worth around US$15k to US$25k nowadays, and they have not just 1, but 10 to 20 pieces of land.
So you think they are rich or are we rich?
